Dr. Robert Voorhees, PT, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy, Owner, Pilates for RehabilitationA graduate of the University Miami, Master’s of Science Physical Therapy Program in 1995, Robert completed his doctorate education in 2015 at The EIM College of Health Professions in Louisville, KY. For the past 23 years, Dr. Voorhees has developed his expertise in vestibular rehabilitation, Pilates, craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, visceral manipulation, and treatment of the spine.
Dr. Lydia Picard, PT, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy, Pilates for RehabilitationDr. Lydia Picard earned her doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Central Florida in 2014. While at the University of Central Florida she pursued coursework in neurology and manual therapy while also working at the UCF Wellness center as a trainer for physically disabled college students. She recently completed her training in the Polestar Pilates method for rehabilitation. Her recent work experience includes working in a sub-acute inpatient facility with an emphasis on post-hospital rehabilitation for patients following joint replacement, stroke, and other medically complex conditions.
Amy Godes-Gibson, PTA, LMT
Physical Therapist Assistant, Massage TherapistAmy Godes Gibson is both a Physical Therapist Assistant and a Licensed Massage Therapist. She has been practicing since 1998 and spent 13 years working in a large orthopedic practice. Her knowledge of orthopedic conditions is indispensable and she has combined this knowledge with the healing touch of myofascial release, orthopedic massage, kinesiotaping, and medical exercise training to become a very unique healer. She is currently working on her PTA Orthopedic Manual Certification at The Florida Institute of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy.
Mandy Etcheverry, PT
Physical Therapist, Pilates for Rehabilitation, Visceral ManipulationMandy Etcheverry graduated with a dual degree in exercise science/cardiac rehabilitation from Ithaca College in 1997. She continued her studies in the Netherlands where she graduated with a degree in Physical Therapy in 1999. She has developed expertise in manual therapy in visceral manipulation and craniosacral therapy at the Upledger Institutue. Mandy is also an expert in movement analysis and restoration. She completed the Stott Pilates advanced certification and is an avid instructor and educator in the Pilates method for rehabilitation.
Paul Vargas, PTA
Physical Therapist AssistantPaul Vargas has been a Physical Therapist Assistant since 2002. He is certified in Pilates for the reformer and utilizes the Pilates method in the treatment of a wide variety of patients. He has provided exceptional care to patients with stroke, multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injury, amputations, degenerative disc disease, post-surgical care and rotator cuff injuries. Paul is also an avid surfer and he is the owner of Aloha Surfing Camps.
Dr. Kelly Gerlach, PT, DPT
Doctor of Physical TherapyDr. Kelly Gerlach completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Florida and her doctorate in physical therapy at NOVA Southeastern University in 2012. Dr. Gerlach has additional training in the Graston technique, muscle energy techniques, and kinesiotaping. She employs a variety of manual therapy techniques for treatment of the neck, spine, and pelvis in combination with her training to achieve amazing outcomes.
